Buying a car during non-business hours:
If you don’t already have a policy then please call us during normal business hours and we will shop your insurance through over a dozen companies so we can find you the company that will give you the most coverage for the lowest premium. Dealerships can direct you to an online company that you could purchase a policy from and have immediate protection. We strongly suggest that you hold off and wait for our agency to shop around your insurance so that you get the best rate and the appropriate coverage. If you already have a car and the car has comprehensive coverage and collision coverage on it.
You could simply provide the dealership with your current identification card and coverage will extend to the replacement vehicle for up to 14 days. You will need to call our office and provide us with the vehicle identification number and loan information. You will need to review the coverage that you want on that vehicle. Some important coverages to consider are: Gap coverage, Rental car, Road service, diminishing deductible, full glass coverage and carrier special endorsement packages that bundle coverages together. Our licensed account managers could explain in detail each of these coverages.
If you already have a car but you don’t have comprehensive and collision coverage on the car, and you are buying a car that you need comprehensive and collision coverage on the car.
Your policy will provide you with 4 days of automatic coverage. You could simply provide the dealership with your current identification card and coverage will extend to the replacement vehicle for up to 4 days for comprehensive and 14 days for liability. You will need to call our office and provide us with the vehicle identification number and loan information. You will need to review the coverage that you want on that vehicle. I don’t have a current identification card and the dealership is requiring one for me to purchase the vehicle, what can I do?
Please go to the customer care center tab on the website and under the Insurance Company Logo you could select get a vehicle identification card. You will be prompted to download the insurance company application on your phone or to sign up for online access with your insurance company. Once you sign up you could get an Identification card as well as have access to make payments, get a copy of your policy and file a claim.
